CMS Bundle Drives Home Dialysis Uptick. One goal of the Medicare PPS “bundled” payment reform in 2008 was to incentivize an increase in home dialysis. A new Stanford study confirms success: a 5.8% rise in (unspecified) home dialysis in Medicare patients—and, surprisingly, a 4.1% increase even among patients with other health plans.
